Glades Academy's 21st Century Program serves students at risk of academic failure, including English Language Learners, students in special education, and students with social and emotional needs. At least 70% of Glades Academy students are reading and performing below grade level. At total of 100% of Glades Academy students receive free or reduced lunches. Glades Academy serves students in the Glades Community from the following areas: Pahokee, Belle Glade, South Bay and Canal Point.
Glades Academy 21st CCLC Program creates a community of learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children by providing students with additional instructional hours in core academic subjects such as reading, math, and science; and offering students a broad array of enrichment activities such as music/band, cheerleading, STEM, sports/recreation, as well as arts and crafts/culture.
